CSI: Cyber, headlined by Patricia Arquette, will arrive on CBS on March 4, the network announced. A few days earlier, viewers will be introduced to The Odd Couple and Battle Creek.
The third spin-off on the hit crime series CSI will focus on investigations at the FBI’s cybercrime division. Patricia Arquette and James Van Der Beek co-star, and Luke Perry features in the first episodes in a potentially recurring role.
Before the premiere of CSI: Cyber, CBS viewers can tune in to see former Friends star Matthew Perry play Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, a remake of the classic 1970s sitcom.
Like the original, the new comedy centres on two divorced men sharing an apartment in Manhattan. Felix is organised and uptight, while Oscar is the total opposite, so living together proves difficult.
Following NBC’s rapid cancellation of Go On, the actor who played Chandler Bing for a decade will attempt his big TV comeback from Feb 19.
Aired after The Big Bang Theory, one of the most-watched shows in the US, the comedy will premiere on the same day that Two and a Half Men airs its final episode after 12 seasons on the air.
The network’s other mid-season series premiere, Battle Creek, is scheduled to debut on March 1.
Created by Vince Gilligan and David Shore (the creators of Breaking Bad and House MD respectively), the new project focuses on two police officers with very different worldviews.
The two men are forced to come together to clean up the streets of Battle Creek, a small Michigan town.
The first episode of Battle Creek is directed by Bryan Singer, and the cast of the series includes Josh Duhamel, Dean Winters and Kal Penn.
