JOHOR BARU, Oct 26, 2014:
The first indoor Angry Birds Activity Park in Southeast Asia located in Komtar Johor Baru City Centre will be opened to the public on Oct 31.
The park, costing an estimated RM17 million, offers a variety of attractive games for the young generation and children such as Lazer Bird Shoot, Classic Tower Play and others.
Johor Corp President and Chief Executive Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim said it was targeting a visitorship of 150,000 to the 26,000 sq ft park in the first year.
“We hope the activity park will become the main attraction for visitors locally and abroad, in a bid to promote Malaysia especially Johor Baru,” he said during a media preview session here today.
Also present were Rovio Entertainment Sales and Communications Director Jonna Nummela and Damansara Asset Sdn Bhd Executive Director Yusaini Sidek.
Kamaruzzaman said children who visited the park could learn while engaging in interactive physical and educational activities.
Tickets are priced at RM60 per entry for Malaysians for both adults and children, and RM75 per entry for foreigners.
The park is based on the popular video game franchise created by Rovio Entertainment.
