KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28, 2014:

Police are now updating the investigation papers on the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) question paper leaks.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Tajuddin Md Isa said this was in keeping with the latest directives from the Attorney-General’s (AG) Chambers, and police were now focusing on this.

Tajuddin was speaking at a news conference in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur police chief’s gathering with the city’s police volunteers at the Kuala Lumpur police contingent headquarters, here, today.

Last week, police submitted the investigation papers on the UPSR question paper leaks to the AG’s Chambers and it is learnt that the probe papers were returned to police for further action.

On Sept 10, the sitting for the UPSR Science subject papers was postponed to Sept 30 after the questions were found to be leaked, followed by the English Language questions a day later. The sitting for this subject was also postponed to Sept 30.

Last Monday, Education director-general Datuk Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof announced that students would also have to resit the Mathematics and Tamil Language papers on Oct 9 after these too were found to have been leaked.
