Kulim Bandar Baru member of parliament (MP) Datuk Abdul Aziz Sheikh Fadzir admits he received a notice of bankruptcy from the Malayan High Court, trade division.

According to him, the notice was in regards to the failure of his family’s business and had failed to pay back the bank loan.

He added that he only found out about the matter yesterday.

When contacted byThe Rakyat Post, Abdul Aziz said he was already in discussion with the bank and that he was looking into resolving the matter as soon as possible.

“I hope everyone prays that this matter will be settled easily,” he said.

The notice of bankruptcy was dated March 25 and the order was dated May 29.
