RATHER unsurprisingly, ABC confirms it will air new seasons of the hit showsGrey’s Anatomy, Scandal, Castle, Revenge, Modern FamilyandOnce Upon a Timefrom this fall.

In total, ABC announced the renewal of 10 series. The surgeons ofGrey’s Anatomywill return for the show’s 11th season.Castlewill enter its seventh run this September, while the comediesModern FamilyandThe Middlewill be in their sixth seasons.

Scandal” which continues to grow in popularity along with its lead actress Kerry Washington, is headed for its fourth run, just likeRevengeandOnce Upon a Time.

Among the multiple new series it launched last season, ABC is retaining only three: the superhero-themed Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, the comedyThe Goldbergsand the fantasy showResurrection. This means the network cancelled 10 freshman series, includingOnce Upon a Time in Wonderland.

The future ofSuburgatory, currently in its third season, remains uncertain, just like that of the music-themed seriesNashville, currently in its second. The network’s final decision should be announced on Tuesday when ABC presents its new schedule to the press.
