KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 2, 2016:
“If any burglar or intruder sets foot in my house and threaten the lives of my family, they will be killed because I am trained to kill,” says a Facebook user going by the name Mohd Fitri Shuib.
The post by the man, who appears to be from the armed forces, struck a chord with many other Facebook users.
He was obviously sharing his thoughts on his social media page following the case of Mohamad Zulkifli Ismail whose arrest for killing one of two robbers has caused an uproar among netizens.
Mohd Fitri said that in such a situation, he would kill any intruders because he was trained to do so.
“Saya dilatih membunuh. Saya tak tahu cara nak pengsankan orang atau cubit-cubit orang (I am trained to kill. I do not know how to knock someone out that or pinch people).”
In his Facebook post, he claimed that he would not know the real intention of any intruder or if they had any hidden weapons that could harm him and his family.
“Saya tak tahu niat sebenar dia. Saya bukan Tuhan boleh baca hati orang. Saya tak tahu senjata apa dia bawa dan tersembunyi. Saya tiada mata superman yg boleh nampak tembus (I don’t know their real intention. I am not God who knows what is in the hearts of others. I don’t know what kind of weapon they are carrying or hiding as I don’t have any X-ray vision like Superman.)”
He also mentioned that he would not invade anybody’s house and he certainly would not allow anybody to “invade” his house.
His post received more than 400 likes and more than 1,800 shares from fellow netizens.
Mohamad Zulkifli, 50, saw two men on a motorcycle in Kampong Labohan, Kerteh, Terengganu, taking his generator from his house on Dec 7.
He is alleged to have attacked them with a small parang. One of them collapsed and died on the road shoulder.
