KUALA LUMPUR, June 4, 2015:

Local celebrity Erra Fazira’s new look donning a hijab has made waves, with her fans approving it and her ex-husband taking to Instagram with a witty remark.

Her ex-husband, Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin today posted a picture on his Instagram @iamkumbre, of them and their daughter, Engku Aleesya, jokingly stating that he would now be the agent to sell off Erra’s used wigs.

Kepada sesiapa berminat utk beli ‘preloved wig’ boleh sms atau call sy…baru dilantik menjadi pengedar sah…,” Engku Emran wrote.

(To those interested in purchasing “preloved wigs” can SMS or call me, I have just been appointed as a legit agent.)

Previously, before donning the hijab, Erra was known for making television appearances wearing wigs.

Meanwhile, on her decision to wear the hijab, Erra was quoted by online portal mStar as having said that her decision to change not only her looks but also her lifestyle was in a bid to become a better Muslim.

“It has been sometime that I wanted to wear the hijab and I am thankful that I can do it now,” Erra told mStar Online.

She also added she was open to any comments and views regarding her change and hoped that the transition marked a new chapter in her life.

Engku Emran, who is currently the chief executive officer of online portal Malaysian Digest, divorced Erra on Feb 18, last year, at the Shah Alam High Court.

The two married in 2007 and welcomed Engku Aleesya, now 6, on March 30, 2009.
