Pentatonix to perform in Malaysia next month (video)

GRAMMY Award-winning a capella group Pentatonix will be performing at Stadium Negara next month as a part of their ‘On My Way Home’ world tour.

The Malaysian date was announced on their official Facebook page — —recently.

The group’s status read: “MALAYSIA!!! We are very, very excited to share with you all that we will be bringing the ‪#‎OnMyWayHomeTour to Kuala Lumpur on May 30th at Stadium Negara!!”

Comprising Kirstie Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Avi Kaplan, Kevin Olusola and Mitch Grassi, Pentatonix received their big break after winning the third season of American a capella singing competition The Sing-Off in 2011.

The group is known for covering chart-topping hit songs and mash-ups in their own unique arrangement with perfect vocal harmony and beatboxing.

Together with music producer Ben Bram, the group won, Best Arrangement (Instrumental or A Cappella) for their song titled Daft Punk at the 57th Grammy Awards in February.

To date, Pentatonix have recorded four albums and have 8.7 million followers on their official YouTube channel,
