WHAT will actress, host and VJ Nur Fazura Sharifuddin be up to in her new season of Facing Up to Fazura?

Not relationships, that’s for sure.

The popular 32-year-old, whose personal life has sometimes overshadowed her professional one is putting her career at the forefront.

She has been romantically linked to Singapore Idol season 2 winner Hady Mirza, Malaysian actor Shaheizy Sam, and is recently rumoured to have something going on with Filipino actor Piolo Pascual (which she denies).

A recent report in The New Paper quotes her as saying: “Perhaps there is, I don’t know, fire between us (Pascual and Fazura), but we’re not together. Nothing more has been discussed beyond that. I think I’m done with relationships.”

She adds that she felt she is always associated with the guys she dates and not on her own merits.

“I’ve decided now I want to chase my dreams and not be tied to any man’s name. I think that is important for every woman.”

Indeed, she’s certainly had a busy year, work-wise.

The multi-talented beauty is building up her fashion line House of Doll and promoting her new body mist Mystical by Fazura, in addition to her main bread and butter, acting.

Fazura, who bagged the Best Actress award at last month’s 27th Malaysian Film Festival for her role in Manisnya Cinta Di Cappadocia, will be appearing in the film adaptation of the novel, Langit Cinta.

She’ll also be starring in Indonesia romantic film Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika, alongside some of the biggest names in the Indonesian entertainment scene, including Acha Septriasa, Abimana Aryasatya and Nino Fernandes.

You’ll also get a taste of her vocal prowess as she sings a duet with Indonesian singer Ridho Rhoma on the soundtrack of the film.

The second season of Facing Up to Fazura will see our fearless heroine continuing to confront the labels placed on her, challenging the public’s perception of the Fazura they know and rewriting society’s norms of how women should behave.

The second season of Facing Up to Fazura starts this Sunday at 10pm on E!
