AirAsia’s ‘Zero Seats’ sale starts at midnight for BIG members

SEPANG, 11 March 2017: 

The ‘Zero Seats’ campaign for flights offered by the AirAsia group starts at 12.01am tomorrow (Sunday March 12) for its BIG loyalty scheme members. The sale will be open to the public 24 hours later, the budget airline said in a statement today.

“Other partners will also be able to access the promotion 24 hours earlier. BIG Prepaid cardholders can do so on airasia.com, AirAsiaGo and AirAsia Expedia on their respective websites, while account holders with Citibank in Malaysia, BBL in Thailand and CIMB Niaga in Indonesia will receive an exclusive link from their respective banks.”

Group chief commercial officer Siegtraund Teh said: “As always, AirAsia BIG members get perks and we’ll be allowing them to book flights 24 hours before we open the sale to the public. We encourage anyone who hasn’t signed up with AirAsia BIG to do so to really take advantage.”

AirAsia will be giving away up to three million promotional seats in its first major promotion of the year. As the one-way base fare excludes taxes and fees, it said the ‘all-in fare’ one way actually starts from RM14.84.

Bookings for AirAsia X start from RM699. All bookings are for travel from 1 Sept 2017 to 5 June 2018.

For wanderlusts who wish to travel immediately, AirAsia has also a special promotion running for bookings during the same period for travel period from Tuesday March 14 to Aug 31 this year.

AirAsia operates a network of more than 120 destinations to all 10 Asean countries, other parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand and the Middle East.
