Sammi Cheng forgives Andy Hui
Hong Kong singer and actress Sammi Cheng is forgiving her husband, Andy Hui, over a recent scandal. She will also not file for divorce.
She made the announcement through an Instagram post which also featured a verse from Corinthians.
Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

In the description of the post, an excerpt of which was translated by Hong Kong site DimSumDaily, she also called for the media not to bother her elderly parents regarding the matter.
‘This painful episode forms one of the most important lessons in our marriage. Both of us have been through numerous emotional upheavals over the years in our marriage. Happiness is fleeting, to be truly joyful in a marriage, we need to go through ups and downs. The key for a marriage to last forever is to truly understand each other’s weaknesses, to forgive and redress each other whenever one makes a mistake as no one is perfect in life. If both of us can overcome this challenging situation, I believe our marriage will be back on track and our lives will be more meaningful . Finally, I hope the media will give some room to my elderly parents as I have already made public my response. I will take one step at a time.’

A video of compromising video of Hui kissing and hugging actress Jacqueline Wong in the back of a car was made public recently.
Hui took full responsibility and made a public apology for his actions, though the matter has raised privacy concerns.
