Of Good Friday and Easter Sunday

This April 19th is an important day in the Christian calendar; it’s Good Friday which marks the end of Lent.

And this year Christian civil servants are being given the day off to observe the day that, according to their faith, Jesus was crucified.

At last Peninsular Malaysia has caught up to Sabah and Sarawak where Good Friday is already a public holiday.

Following that, on April 21st is Easter Sunday during which a popular tradition is for children to participate in an Easter egg hunt.

There are several places in Kuala Lumpur where families can join in the festivities.

Can anyone tell us why it’s a bunny that gives out the eggs?
